How to Retrieve and Set-Up Your Secure Door Lock from AAA Self Storage
The 'Lock' Box
When you rent your unit, you purchase a Secure Door Lock for your unit. This door lock is provided on-site. Your first time visiting, you will pick-up your lock by going to the on-site 'Lock Box', entering '1-2-3-4-E' on the digital entry pad and opening the door. The locks are hanging inside, ready to have a unique lock combination entered that only you know.
The Door Lock
You pay for the door lock one time upon your first rental payment. After you pick-up your door lock on your first visit, you will set your own combination. The instructions are on the lock.
HOW TO OPEN THE LOCK:

Turn dials to original 0-0-0-0.

Turn the slider lever at bottom clockwise to open
HOW TO SET A NEW COMBINATION:

Open the lock.

On the back of the lock, use a coin or screw driver to turn the screw from A to B (anti-clockwise)

Set your own 4 digit combination.

Write down combination.
-
Reset screw by turning from B to A (clockwise).

The new combination is set successfully.
